Anil Dash - How Do We Judge Our Tools?
One for the idea hole:
As I was reading today about web applications, I noticed that one of the main complaints is that they are inherintaly unstable. This is due to the fact that the application exists entirly on someone elses server. I propose that some developer creates tools that will allow users to easily host their own version on their home computer, with total database backup of at least their own files.
It would need to be a one step process, and then the whole web 2.0 concept may really start taking off.
